My name is Wael. I’ve also had the opportunity to work as the leading head of an AP mathematics academy where my team and I focused particularly on the individual needs of students and provided them with highly personalized sessions.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approach tends to revolve around the learning style of the students. Student-centered, activity-based, and collaborative tutoring approaches are a few of my very favorite tutoring approaches. I explain the concepts verbally and never stick with boring teacher-centered approaches. Instead, my sessions encourage the students to participate and solve the problems themselves under my close supervision. As a result, improving the students’ critical thinking skills. Further, all the sessions are enriched with multiple real-life examples, helping the students relate the information with finance, crypto, engineering, etc., for a better understanding and retaining the knowledge for a long period. Summative and formative assessments are also conducted, allowing me to have deeper glimpses of the student’s performance and conceptual understanding. The assessments are graded according to the scale of their curriculum, i.e., a scale of 5 to 1 for AP mathematics, alphabetical grades with different distinctions for IB further math, and so on.

i have been teaching moths past 3+ years in the community tuition center. I taught math to kids from 8th to 10th grade in both CBSE and American Curriculum for three years. I had almost 1,000 students. My bachelor's degree is in engineering and my master's degree is in the same field. I have also worked as a math teacher at a community school.
