Ph.D. in Theoretical and Computational Science
Solving math problems and playing with geometrical tools always filled me with joy and excitement. I have loved math since my childhood. I didn’t just study math but also taught this subject to my friends, peers, college students, math researchers, and researchers. Over the 18 years of my teaching career, I’ve tutored several students and taught them how to solve problems. I can tutor multiple curricula and also help university students with their studies. I also supervised research work when I was working as a professor at a university years ago.
I inspire my students to learn and understand problem-solving processes. This forces their mind to think logically, and critically, ultimately preparing them for future challenging exams. I explain the steps verbally on digital boards and also share notes, past papers, and important questions for building the foundation of their exams.
Muaz has been working with my daughter for over 2 months and helping him prepare for his IB exams. My son is showing excellent results so far; he just loves being in Muaz’s session! Thank you, Muaz!
He is very punctual and always has his internet stable. I like learning math from him, as he explains everything slowly and in detail. I can’t wait to hire him again!
Very nice and excellent tutor! On review isn’t enough. He is just GREAT!
BSc Mathematics
My name is Sharon, and I've been a primary teacher for 18 years, teaching children aged 3 to 11. For the past 4 years, I've also been tutoring online and in-person, which I thoroughly enjoy.
In my tutoring approach, I like to incorporate the interests of the children I teach to keep them engaged. We'll relate our lessons to real-life experiences to make learning more meaningful. Starting with reviewing previous lessons, we'll fill in any gaps and then progress to new knowledge and skills. I'm passionate about helping children discover different ways to solve problems and face challenges with determination. We'll also play educational games and have fun while learning.

PhD in Discrete Mathematics
Hi there! I’m a passionate math tutor with more than 17 years of tutoring experience. I can tutor different fields of maths, i.e., algebra, geometry, calculus, integration, linear algebra, and other related fields. I can assist almost all levels of students with math.
I use step-by-step procedures to explain the concepts in detail. I focus on building my students' concepts and teaching them the entire process of solving questions. This ultimately prepares them for future exams. I don’t ask my students to memorise every step of the questions. Instead, they’re encouraged to solve the equations with proper reasoning and logic.
Osmar tutored my daughter with math. I was glad to see my daughter grow and learn the concepts without getting offended by the complexity of the subject. Osmar is great!
A very nice tutor. He listens to his students with great patience and never gets offended by the number of or repetition of students’ questions.
A perfect tutor! Highly recommend!

Electrical Engineer
With 15 years of teaching experience in chemistry, physics, and mathematics, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom. Guiding students through complex concepts, fostering critical thinking skills, and instilling a passion for STEM subjects are my priorities. My dedication to personalized instruction and creating engaging learning environments has consistently empowered students to excel academically and beyond.
In teaching chemistry, physics, and mathematics, I prioritize a hands-on approach that emphasizes practical application alongside theoretical understanding. Through interactive experiments, problem-solving activities, and real-world examples, I aim to make abstract concepts tangible and relevant to students. Encouraging inquiry, curiosity, and collaboration, my teaching approach fosters deep comprehension and equips students with the skills needed for success in STEM fields.
Masters in Statistics
I have a Master's degree in Statistics from one of Pakistan's premier institutions, Government College University Lahore, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Lahore College. My teaching journey includes stints at several international schools in Saudi Arabia, such as Pakistan International School English Section Riyadh and Middle East International School Riyadh, where I primarily taught Mathematics. My emphasis has always been on ensuring students grasp concepts thoroughly, which has consistently resulted in top-performing classes.
I advocate for active learning, encouraging students to participate and engage with the material actively. Together, we work through problems step by step, focusing on building a deep understanding of the subject to instill confidence in them. My approach is to guide rather than merely provide answers, fostering critical thinking skills in students. I prioritize open and honest communication, ensuring clarity and mutual respect in our interactions, while also expecting the same from my students.
MSc in Pure Mathematics
I began my career in math academia after completing my MSc. For the past 15 years, I have been assisting students in different areas of math, helping them overcome challenges. I have experience teaching high school math subjects like algebra, geometry, calculus, and introductory number theory. I have experience in planning and developing curriculum to make learning easier for students. I have always been dedicated to making math easier and less scary for students.
I prioritize clarity and precision in teaching mathematical concepts. Every math problem follows a specific pattern and method. I break down problems into smaller steps to help students understand the logic behind each step. This helps to avoid memorization and encourages real understanding. I believe it's important for students to practice various types of problems for each topic in order to fully understand it. I also encourage students to ask their own questions, which helps develop analytical thinking skills. When teaching complex topics, I find it helpful to repeat the information in different ways. This helps students understand the concept better over time.
Carlos taught my 7-year-old boy math. Carlos is an easy-going and skilled teacher who was always ready for his classes. He helped my kid prepare for the 7+ King's College test, which he passed even though he only had a short time to study. If you need help with math, I strongly suggest that you talk to Carlos.
Carlos is always on time, well-organized, and patient. I thought it was great that he was always ready because he read the materials I sent him before our meetings. I really think you should work with Carlos, and not just for statistics. For any kind of math.
