Master of Science in Mathematics
I’ve been tutoring for 20 years now at almost all levels. I started out early in college and continued tutoring. I specialize in tutoring IGCSE, A-level, SAT, MCAT, and many other levels of students. As a tutor, my prime concern is developing my students’ cognitive, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, plus, helping them excel academically.
Math is considered one of the most boring subjects, and my duty is to make it fun for my students. I use interactive activities that support students’ maximum engagement.
Very professional tutor! He explained every concept with proper details. Highly recommended!
Very helpful! He ensured I understood every concept before moving on to the next topics. I highly recommend him to the physics students.
Of all the tutors I ever had, Krishnan was one of the best ones. He made the complex concepts easy to understand. He’s humble, patient, and super-talented too! I am going to hire him again!

I have served as a visiting lecturer at the university and also offered private tutoring to students. My teaching philosophy emphasizes the cultivation of critical thinking and analytical skills, which are vital for success in IB English Literature. I motivate students to delve into texts beyond mere surface interpretations, promoting a greater appreciation for literary themes, stylistic techniques, and historical contexts. A former student of mine, currently pursuing a master's in linguistics, attributed her enhanced understanding of literary analysis to my support.
I look forward to teach my students, as to make it easy for them to understand; basically making the concepts clear and making them aware in which their knowledge is absent.
Ph.D. in Biochemistry
I’m very passionate about tutoring my subject. I've been tutoring this subject since I was completing my graduation, and now it's been 20 years. I'm helping worldwide chemistry students learn and understand intriguing concepts. Apart from Biochemistry, I can also teach Analytical Chemistry, Geo Chemistry, and other important fields of chemistry.
I strongly believe in using activity-based learning approaches in one-on-one sessions. I encourage my students to work during sessions and participate as much as possible. The activities I choose for my students not only help them memorize the course material but also boost their critical thinking skills.
I’m glad I found him! I literally hated my O-level chemistry, but he explained everything so well to me and made all the concepts very clear to me. I passed my exams with amazing marks just because of his professional help.
After changing two unprofessional chemistry tutors, I wasn’t expecting much from Gamal. But surprisingly, he turned out to be a GREAT help!
Thanks, Gamal for teaching me so much about chemistry. This tutor was always on time and never wasted time in discussing useless things. Highly recommended!

Master's in Classical Literature and Latin
I have been teaching Latin to students who follow the IB curriculum for 20 years. I have helped students learn Latin, from ancient Rome to the language's details. Throughout the years, I have had the opportunity to teach students from different backgrounds. Each student has their own reasons for studying Latin and brings their own unique perspectives. My teaching style has been influenced by my experiences, which have made it more inclusive and effective.
My approach to teaching Latin is all about connecting it to everyday life. We explore how Latin roots and phrases are still used in modern languages, including English. By making these connections, Latin becomes relevant and accessible. From scientific terms to legal jargon, Latin is all around us. You'll see it's not just a historical language but one that still influences our world today.
As an adult who is going back to school to take a class, I'm glad I picked Reggie as my teacher. I really appreciate how patient he is with me and how gradually he works, which helps me a lot. Under his careful and steady guidance, I'm sure my Latin will improve a lot. Five stars.
Reggie is a clear, kind, and well-organized teacher. He leads students through the modules in a way that makes sense and checks their learning as they go. I'm really loving the lessons, and getting better. I have no doubts about recommending him.

PhD in English Literature with a focus on Post-colonial Narratives, TEFL Certified
I started teaching in Abu Dhabi, where I was exposed to a mix of Emirati culture and its connections with other cultures. I became interested in English literature in this environment, particularly in how colonial histories shape stories. In my career, I have focused on connecting English literature with the Middle East. I have worked as a teacher at local colleges and as a part-time professor at well-known universities in the UK. I have focused on the meaningful connections and conversations that literature provides, across different countries and time periods.
Literature shows us how societies and their histories are reflected. In our classes, we explore the connection between the deserts of the Arabian Peninsula and the busy streets of 19th-century London. When studying English classics, I like to encourage students to find similarities between those stories and our own history and stories. What would people think of "Pride and Prejudice" if it took place in Dubai? What common experiences and differences do we see when we compare Western literature with Middle Eastern tales? I want to have conversations about literature that bring different worlds and times together. I hope this will help students find their own voice in literature.
Rashed is a fantastic educator. Since I've been working with Rashed's, I've noticed that my 14-year-old approaches reading in a somewhat different way, such as looking up unfamiliar words online rather than simply skipping over them. I repeat a statement to her till she understands the meaning. She seems to be exercising critical analysis as well. He is punctual and really patient.
While Rashed's knowledge is vast, I'd appreciate a more structured syllabus for our studies.
